The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is implementing a new process for reviewing Indirect Cost Rates of Architectural and Engineering (A&E) firms contracting with local agencies. As part of the process, A&E firms will now be required to submit to local agencies certain financial documents to support their Indirect Cost Rates.
Training on the new process will be posted to the Caltrans Audits and Investigations website by the end of January.
