If you are involved in Local Road Safety for your agency, plan on attending one of two webinars on Local Road Safety Plans (LRSP).

Wednesday, September 11th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm PST
Target participants: Public Works Directors, Traffic and Safety Practitioners and other local decision makers.
What you will learn:
- As recommended by the Local HSIP Advisory Committee, the Local HSIP is making a change in future funding cycles, which will require all agencies to have a LRSP, or equivalent to be eligible to apply for federal HSIP grant funds.
- What a LRSP is and how it has helped local agencies not only within California but other agencies across the nation to address their fatal and serious injuries crashes.
- What it’s going to take for California to move Toward Zero Deaths / by deploying a systemic approach for your roadways.
- Hear from other local agencies on how they developed a LRSP and what steps they have taken to implement countermeasures as a result of the Plan.
- Funding that will be available to help complete a LRSP.
- Hear about proven countermeasures for reducing rural roadway departure crashes.
