Training is provided at no cost, and will cover the importance of coordinating with realty/right-of-way specialists early in the project development process. The Acquisition Workshop will provide an overview of the basic appraisal requirements under the Uniform Act and applicable Federal Regulations, as well as how the valuation relates to the acquisition and relocation process. Learn about “global settlements”, the administrative settlement process, negotiations, essential documentation, and the Uniform Act Relocation Program.
Who should attend? State and Local government employees, as well as consultants who work in the transportation decision-making process and who value/acquire or manage real estate for federally-funded transportation projects.
