The California LTAP Center and National Highway Institute are hosting a virtual course series on June 8-11, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM titled “Managing Highway Contract Claims: Analysis and Avoidance.” In this course, participants first walk step-by-step through the evaluation of a contract claim, looking at each component of the claim, entitlement, impact, and cost. In addition, there is a module devoted solely to claims avoidance techniques and dispute resolution processes.
This course may help you manage and avoid claims, define essential scheduling terms, explain how to perform a contemporaneous schedule analysis, describe, how to avoid constructive acceleration, explain the key steps necessary to evaluate claims, explain the strengths and weaknesses of dispute review board and much more.
This an intermediate level course. It is a valuable course for contractors, design consultants, project managers, and attorneys involved in the evaluation, management, and resolution of disputes on highway construction projects.
