If you missed the Solving ADA Design Challenges webinar on design guidance related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in September; the webinar recordings, presentation materials, and frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available on the Caltrans Division of Local Assistance ADA Training Website. This webinar will provide the background and critical aspects of design guidance related to the ADA and how to meet the obligations of ADA within the complexities of the public right-of-way. The training reviews the design guidelines and discusses the approaches to take when real-world conditions don’t resemble the pictures in the book.
