The Caltrans Division of Local Assistance welcomes their new training partner, the California State University Long Beach, Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT). The CITT team will enhance the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Center by providing specialized technical trainings and resources. With over 24 years of experience in professional and workforce development, CITT will contribute its broad network connections, extensive experience in workforce development training, and project management skills with the goal of engaging a broader audience of local public and tribal agencies. CITT will also be updating and enhancing the LTAP website in the coming months.
DLA extends gratitude to the College of Continuing Education (CCE) at Sacramento State for their previous leadership of the LTAP Center. CCE will continue to offer transportation training aimed at California’s Local Public Agencies, such as the Federal-Aid Series and Resident Engineers Academy, during their rebrand and transition to the Cooperative Transportation Assistance Program (CTAP).
