Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) Application in Federal Lands

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Local Aid Support team’s February Innovation Exchange Webinar (IEW) series will showcase ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) technology, which offers enhanced durability and improved life-cycle cost performance for bridge preservation and repair. Keeping bridges in a state of good repair is essential to keeping the transportation system operating efficiently. Agencies at all levels can deploy UHPC for bridge preservation and repair to maintain or improve bridge conditions cost effectively.
During this webinar, we will hear from FHWA Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center with an overview of UHPC, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on their experience with UHPC deck panel joint repair applications.
