ATP Cycle 6 – Now Open!
ATP Cycle 6 is expected to include about $650 million of federal, Senate Bill 1 of 2017, and State Highway Account (SHA) funding. The funding/programming years include the 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 fiscal years.
ATP Cycle 6 also includes a Quick-Build Phase II Pilot Program. Quick-Build projects have a separate application, that is located on the Caltrans ATP Cycle 6 website.
The ATP Cycle 6 Application has eight project types:
• Plan
• Non-Infrastructure
• Small Infrastructure (total project cost of $3.5 M or less)
• Medium Infrastructure (total project cost more than $3.5M up to $10M)
• Large Infrastructure (total project cost greater than $10M)
• Small Infrastructure + Non-Infrastructure Combination (total project cost of $3.5M or less)
• Medium Infrastructure + Non-Infrastructure Combination (total project cost from more than $3.5M up to $10M)
• Large Infrastructure + Non-Infrastructure Combination (total project cost greater than $10M)
The following schedule lists the anticipated major milestones for the development and adoption of the 2023 ATP Cycle 6 Program:
