Caltrans Office of Strategic Investment Planning (OSIP) Division of Transportation Planning leads Caltrans Letter of Support (LOS) requests from local and regional agencies for inclusion in their project application packages for competitive grant programs. OSIP is responsible for submitting LOS Request Packages to the Director for various state and federal grant programs.
Caltrans has two Call for Letters of Support open for the following Discretionary Grants:
Charging and Fueling Infrastructure for Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023
• Request for a Caltrans Letter of Support is due April 21, 2023
Safe Streets and Roads for All Fiscal Year 2023
• Request for a Caltrans Letter of Support is due May 19, 2023
