Reminders for All Applicants
The technical assistance providers created Application Resource Guides to provide an overview of the application process and help potential applicants get ready to apply. Both the resource guides and Round 5 Application Workshop recordings are available on our Current Application Materials webpage.
TCC Program staff host office hours via Zoom every Tuesday, 2:00 – 4:00 pm PT. Staff will allocate 2:00 – 3:30 pm for 15-minute appointments, which prospective attendees can register fusing Calendly. the timeframe of 3:30 – 4:00 pm is for drop-in attendees with no registration required. Staff admit drop-in attendees one at a time, in the order in which they arrive. All final applications are due by 5 pm PT on August 1, 2023.
Next Steps for Implementation Grant Applicants
After submitting the Application Initiation Form, all Implementation Grant applicants must submit a Pre-Proposal by 5 p.m. on May 1, 2023, via SharePoint. TCC Program staff will email applicants more instructions on the submission process and the link to their individual SharePoint folder within the next week. Download the Round 5 Implementation Grant Application Materials to access the Pre-Proposal template. Note: a Pre-Proposal is not required for Planning or Project Development Grant applicants.
Next Steps for Planning and Project Development Grant Applicants
Planning and Project Development Grant applicants must submit an Application Initiation Form by July 3, 2023. SGC will offer technical assistance (TA) to tribal communities and disadvantaged unincorporated communities (DUCs) applying for Project Development Grants or Planning Grants. SGC encourages tribal and DUC applicants to submit the form as soon as possible to begin receiving TA earlier in the application process; however, these applicants are eligible for due-date extensions for this form. Reminder: Strategic Growth Council Seeks Technical Assistance Providers for Federal Application Support
We’ve released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking technical assistance (TA) providers to support Strategic Growth Council grantees in accessing federal environmental justice grants. TA providers will assist under-resourced community-based organizations and local governments with identifying federal grants to apply for and completing federal grant applications. TA provider proposals are due Monday, May 8, 2023, by 5:00 pm PT. Click the link below to access the RFP where it’s posted on the Cal eProcure site.
