Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Office of Natural Environment has released a new Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Emissions Measure Target Setting and Reporting Fact Sheet. The fact sheet is as an easy-to-read flow chart for MPOs to understand reporting requirements, the target setting process, and timeline. FHWA publishes applicability tables for MPOs who are required to establish targets and report progress for the performance measures related to Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Program.
