Local Assistance Program Guidelines (LAPG)
Caltrans Division of Local Assistance (DLA) has published the 2024 Local Assistance Procedures Manual and updated the Local Assistance Program Guidelines. Changes are updated in the Local Programs Procedures (LPP) document #23-01 and all details may be accessed below.
The LPP is used for the formal deployment of new procedures and policy changes to the Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM) and Local Assistance Program Guidelines (LAPG). LPP’s are numbered according to calendar year and order in which released. LPP #23-01 maybe accessed below in pdf format.
The LAPM describes the processes, procedures, documents, authorizations, approvals, and certifications required for California Local Public Agencies to receive federal-aid and/or state funds for transportation projects. Access the 2024 LAPM webpage.
