On December 20, 2023, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) opened the FY 2023 through FY 2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Bridge Investment Program (BIP) – Planning and Bridge Project Grants. The NOFO was published on Grants.gov and can be accessed through the following link: BIP – Planning and Bridge NOFO. Additional information on the program can be found on the BIP Webpage.
FHWA is working to develop two (2) pre-recorded overviews of the FY 2023 though FY 2026 NOFO for BIP – Planning and Bridge Project Grants, one recording will focus on Planning grants and the second will focus on Bridge Project grants. These overviews will be posted as soon as they are available on the BIP Webpage.
Before joining the session, it is requested that participants review the NOFO, the prerecorded overviews (when available), and the updated Questions and Answers which all can be found on the BIP Webpage. Also, participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the sessions to the official BIP Mailbox at bridgeinvestmentprogram@dot.gov. The LIVE Question and Answer Sessions will address the pre-submitted questions and any others asked during the session as time permits. In addition to the questions and answers, topics that will be discussed include, general information on the grant opportunities, the narrative and application templates, and the BCA tool.
