Safe Streets for All Notice of Funding Opportunity – Fiscal Year 2024
The purpose of this Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to solicit applications for Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grants. Funds for the fiscal year 2024 SS4A grant program are to be awarded on a competitive basis to support planning, infrastructural, behavioral, and operational initiatives to prevent death and serious injury on roads and streets involving all roadway users, including pedestrians; bicyclists; public transportation, personal conveyance, and micro-mobility users; motorists; and commercial vehicle operators.
The FY 2024 SS4A NOFO has multiple application deadlines, depending on the grant type. Following each deadline, FHWA will review Planning and Demonstration Grant applications received to date. Each eligible applicant can receive only one award for the FY24 NOFO.
