The Caltrans Division of Local Assistance (DLA) Office of Environmental Compliance and Outreach (OECO) is hosting a free in-person, one-day training detailing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance process and procedures for local assistance projects. The training will also focus on the environmental scoping tool, the Preliminary Environmental Study Exhibit 6-A form, NEPA class of actions, technical study requirements, mitigation measures, and revalidations.
Register on the DLA page for the free in-person training. The training capacity is limited to 40 people and is based on first register, first confirmed attendance.
After registering, an email will be sent confirming the application has been submitted, and registration is accepted or added to a waitlist if the capacity has already been reached.
A final email will be sent to all confirmed participants by 5:00 pm on February 5th providing the location address, free parking information, and training materials.
