The Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program (RTAPP) is intended to advance transportation infrastructure projects in rural and Tribal communities by supporting development-phase activities for projects reasonably expected to be eligible for certain DOT credit and grant programs.
The US Department of Transportation (USDOT) released an amended RTAPP notice of funding opportunity (NOFO). A total of $27 million is available to award for planning and design phase activities for developing transportation projects in rural or tribal communities. There is no local match required to participate in this program.
